Jamike Jarin
Michael Ray "Jamike" Jarin is a Filipino basketball coach who is the interim head coach for the Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters of the Philippine Basketball Association, PBA. He is also currently serving as assistant coach for UE Red Warriors. He formerly coached the Ateneo Blue Eaglets and San Beda Red Lions, where he won several championships in both teams. He also served as head coach for NU Bulldogs from 2017 until 2019. He also served as an assistant coach for PBA teams like TNT Tropang Giga, Talk 'N Text Tropang Texters and Meralco Bolts. The UAAP Season 71 men's basketball tournament is the 2008-09 season of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Basketball Championship, with University of the Philippines, Diliman as the season host, to coincide with the centennial celebrations of the University of the Philippines System. The Ateneo Blue Eagles swept their archrivals De La Salle Green Archers in two games to clinch their first UAAP title since 2002, and to give head coach Norman Black his first collegiate championship. Ateneo's Rabeh Al-Hussaini was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the season, while Nonoy Baclao was named as the Finals MVP. Ryan Buenafe won the Rookie of the Year honors, also for the Ateneo. UAAP Season 81
UAAP Season 81 is the 2018–19 athletic year of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). This season is hosted by National University. Eight member universities of the UAAP competed in the league's fifteen sports to vie for the general championship. Opening ceremony The opening ceremony was held on September 8, 2018 at the Mall of Asia Arena with the tagline "It All Begins Here". The ceremony kicked off with an intermission number led by the NU Chorale, NU Underdawgz and the NU Pep Squad. NBA star Stephen Curry made a special appearance and led the oath of sportsmanship for the athletes. Local artists Sponge Cola, James Reid and South Korean singer-songwriter and former 2NE1 member Minzy also performed inside the arena. UAAP Season 80
UAAP Season 80 is the 2017–18 athletic year of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). This season was hosted by the Far Eastern University. The eight member universities of the UAAP competed in the league's 28 events from 15 sports to vie for the overall championship. NCAA Season 92 is the 2016–17 collegiate athletic year of the National Collegiate Athletic Association in the Philippines. It is hosted by the San Beda College. The turnover ceremony of the NCAA flag from Mapua to San Beda was held at the Pearl Manila Hotel on April 6, 2016. NCAA Season 91 is the 2015–16 collegiate athletic year of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (Philippines), National Collegiate Athletic Association in the Philippines.
