Jamie Watson (basketball)
Jamie Lovell Watson (born February 23, 1972) is an American former professional basketball player who played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and other leagues. Watson, a 6' 7" 190 lb small forward, was selected 47th overall (second round) by the Utah Jazz in the 1994 NBA draft. Between 1994 and 1997 he played with the Jazz and briefly for the Dallas Mavericks, as well as three games for the Miami Heat in 1998-99 NBA season, 1999. He finished in third place during the NBA Slam Dunk Contest in 1995 NBA All-Star Game, 1995. Elm City, North Carolina
Elm City is a town in Wilson County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 1,298 in 2010. History The Elm City Municipal Historic District, W. H. Langley House, and Webb-Barron-Wells House were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. In the summer of 1964, the Ku Klux Klan drove away a group of black and white teenage volunteers repainting the local First Presbyterian Church. Subsequently, adult volunteers returned to finish the job, and Governor Terry Sanford dispatched state troopers to protect the team of integrated volunteers. The small forward (SF), also known as the three or swingman, is one of the five positions in a regulation basketball game.
