James Ross Walker (born July 1, 1971) is an American former Major League Baseball relief pitcher. He previously pitched for the Kansas City Royals, Detroit Tigers, and Baltimore Orioles. Biography Walker graduated from Warren County Senior High in McMinnville, Tennessee in 1989. He attended Austin Peay State University between 1990 and 1992 and ranks fifth all-time in school history with 17 wins and first with three career shutouts. Walker was drafted in the 10th round (265th overall) of the 1992 MLB draft by the Houston Astros. Walker crossed the picket lines and participated in spring training during the 1994 Major League Baseball strike as a replacement player. As a result, he was barred membership to the Major League Baseball Players Association. This prevented Walker from being listed among Tigers players on their 2006 ALCS championship merchandise. Jamie Walker (born 20 December 1991) is an English international bowls player. Bowls career Outdoors In 2013, he won two gold medals at the European Bowls Championships in Spain. He was named as the 2015 Thomas Taylor 'Bowler of the Year' after securing a National title in 2015 and winning the singles gold medal and the triples bronze medal at the Atlantic Bowls Championships. In 2016 he won two more National titles, the Junior singles and Mixed fours at Leamington Spa. In December 2016 he was part of the triples team with Andy Knapper and Robert Paxton who won the gold medal at the 2016 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Christchurch. He has won six National Championship titles in 2011, 2013, 2015 (x 2), 2016 and 2017. Jamie Walker (born 25 June 1993) is a Scottish footballer who plays for Bradford City as an attacking midfielder or winger. He has previously played for Hearts, Raith Rovers and Wigan Athletic and represented Scotland at every youth international level.
