Jamie Stott
Jamie Garry Stott (born 22 December 1997) is an English footballer who plays for League Two club Morecambe. Club career Jamie is an academy graduate, having been at Oldham Athletic since the age of nine. He has had numerous loans spells at non-league clubs in the North-West of England, including two spells at Stockport County, where he has won young player of the season awards. In the 2019/20 season Jamie was looking to secure a first team spot in the Stockport squad after winning the league with them in 2019. In August 2021, Stott returned to National League North side AFC Fylde on loan for the season. Stott was released by Stockport following promotion to the Football League in the 2021–22 season, signing for FC Halifax Town in June 2022. Stott was one of 15 free agents that signed for League Two club Morecambe on 12 July 2024, after the club's embargo on registering new players was lifted. Bury, Greater Manchester
Bury ( ) is a market town on the River Irwell in Greater Manchester, England. Metropolitan Borough of Bury is administered from the town, which had an estimated population of 78,723 in 2015. The town is within the historic county boundaries of Lancashire. It emerged in the Industrial Revolution as a mill town manufacturing textiles. The 2022–23 FA Trophy (known for sponsorship reasons as the Isuzu FA Trophy) is the 54th season of the FA Trophy, an annual football competition for teams at levels 5–8 of the English football league system. Eligibility Applications to enter the 54th edition of the FA Trophy opened on 25 February 2022 and closed 1 April 2022. Competition is open to the 320 clubs playing in Steps 1–4 of the National League System, equivalent to tiers 5–8 of the overall English football league system. All but Guernsey F.C. (8) appeared on the list of clubs accepted on 1 July 2022. This resulted in an odd number of teams remaining in the first round qualifying, so a bye was allocated to Leek Town. The Football Association Challenge Trophy, commonly known as the FA Trophy, is a men's football knockout cup competition run by and named after the English Football Association and competed for primarily by semi-professional teams. The competition was instigated in 1969 to cater to those non-league clubs that paid their players and were therefore not eligible to enter the FA Amateur Cup. 2020–21 National League
The 2020–21 National League season, known as the Vanarama National League for sponsorship reasons, is the sixth season under English football's new title of the National League, the eighteenth season consisting of three divisions, and the forty-second season overall.
