Jamie Semple
Jamie Semple (born 17 May 2001) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays for Open Goal Broomhil as a Forward. He has previously played for Motherwell, Cove Rangers, East Fife and now currently Open Goal Broomhill now Gala Fairydean. Club career Semple joined the Motherwell youth Academy in 2014, while being part of the Scottish FA performance School as a pupil at Braidhurst High School. He made his first team debut for Motherwell on 27 April 2019, setting up the winning goal in injury time for David Turnbull in a 4–3 win at home to Dundee. Bellshill
Bellshill (pronounced "Bells hill") is a town in North Lanarkshire in Scotland, southeast of Glasgow city centre and west of Edinburgh. Other nearby localities are Motherwell to the south, Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, Hamilton to the southwest, Viewpark to the west, Holytown to the east and Coatbridge to the north. The 2020–21 Scottish League One was the eighth season of Scottish League One, the third tier of Scottish football. The season commenced later than usual, on the October 17th, being played over a shortened 22 game period due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Ten teams contested the league: Airdrieonians, Clyde, Cove Rangers, Dumbarton, East Fife, Falkirk, Forfar Athletic, Montrose, Partick Thistle and Peterhead. On 11 January 2021, the league was suspended for three weeks due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On 29 January 2021, the suspension was extended until at least 14 February. In March 2021, the Scottish Government gave permission for the league to resume.
