Jamie Reed
Jamieson Ronald "Jamie" Reed (born 4 August 1973) is a British former politician who served as Member of Parliament (MP) for Copeland from 2005 to 2017. A member of the Labour Party, he was a Shadow Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Minister from 2010 to 2011 and a Shadow Health Minister from 2011 to 2015. Early life and career Reed was born in Whitehaven, Cumbria and educated at Whitehaven School. He graduated with a BA in English from Manchester Metropolitan University and an MA in Mass Communications from the University of Leicester. Before his election to Parliament, he worked as a Press Officer at Sellafield, a nuclear reprocessing and decommissioning site, and served on Copeland Borough Council. Jamie Lee Reed (born 13 August 1987) is a footballer and coach who currently plays as a striker for Cymru North side Buckley Town. Born in England, he has represented Wales at semi-professional level. Early career Born in Chester, Cheshire, Reed began his career in Wrexham's youth system aged 16 in 2003. He signed his first professional contract with the club on 20 August 2004. He made his first-team debut as a 79th minute substitute in a 4–1 defeat at Wycombe Wanderers on 27 September 2005. He joined Glentoran on loan until the end of the 2005–06 season in January 2006 and made five appearances for the Irish Premier League side. After returning to Wrexham, manager Denis Smith said "While it was not easy for him with a change of manager so early in his spell at Glentoran, he knuckled down" and in June 2006 signed his professional contract with the club. ''The Only Way Is Essex'' (often abbreviated as ''TOWIE'' ) is a British reality television series based in Brentwood, Essex, England. It shows "real people in modified situations, saying unscripted lines but in a structured way." Originally broadcast on ITV2 from 2010, the series was moved to ITVBe in October 2014. The first series consisted of 10 episodes and ran for 30 minutes, with a Christmas special following later in the year. Due to popularity, the runtime was extended to 45-minute episodes and renewed for a year's airing. On 22 May 2011, the series won the Audience Award at the 2011 BAFTA Awards. On 13 March 2016, ITVBe aired a one-off documentary hosted by former cast member Mark Wright, discussing the history of the series.
