Jamie Quinn (actor)
Jamie Quinn is a Scottish actor and musician. He is best known for his roles as Private Kevin "Mac" McDowell in ''Bluestone 42'', Fergie in '' Still Game'' and Ian Baird in '' Two Doors Down''. He is the singer-songwriter and guitarist in the rock band Penny Mob. Early life Quinn was born in Glasgow, Scotland and grew up in Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire. He attended St. Ambrose High School in Coatbridge. He was given the nickname "Penny Chew" whilst at school due to the fact that he had appeared in a TV advert for S1jobs where he stood at an ice cream van and delivered the line "Just a penny chew then Mr.". BBC Three
BBC Three is a British free-to-air public broadcast television channel owned and operated by the BBC. It was first launched on 9 February 2003 with programmes targeting 16 to 34-year-olds, covering all genres including animation, comedy, current affairs, and drama series. The television channel closed down in 2016 and was replaced by an online-only BBC Three streaming channel. After six years of being online, BBC Three returned to linear television on 1 February 2022. ''Lilybuds'' is a computer-animated children's television series produced by Zodiak Family. The series has been made for Discovery Kids in Latin America. The CGI animated series is produced by ZKS France for Discovery Kids Latin America, with the participation of public broadcaster France Télévisions. Both broadcasters launched the series in mid-2018. The Glasgow Film Festival is an annual film festival based in Glasgow, Scotland. The festival began in 2005. By 2015, the festival had seen audience figures top 40,000 for two consecutive years. 2008 2008's festival took place between 14–24 February and the programme included exclusive premieres as well as a Bette Davis retrospective. 2009 The 2009 event featured an Audrey Hepburn retrospective and a birthday tribute to Errol Flynn. 2010 2010's festival took place between 18–28 February. The BFI London Film Festival is an annual film festival founded in 1957 and held in the United Kingdom, running for two weeks in October with co-operation from the British Film Institute. It screens more than 300 films, documentaries and shorts from approximately 50 countries. Wolf Alice are an English rock band from London, England. Formed in 2010 as an acoustic duo comprising singer Ellie Rowsell and guitarist Joff Oddie, Wolf Alice have also featured bassist Theo Ellis and drummer Joel Amey since 2012. Michael Winterbottom
Michael Winterbottom (born 29 March 1961) is an English film director. He began his career working in British television before moving into features. Three of his films—''Welcome to Sarajevo'', '' Wonderland'' and '' 24 Hour Party People''—have competed for the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival. John Patrick Byrne (born 6 January 1940) is a Scottish playwright and artist. He wrote ''The Slab Boys Trilogy'', plays which explore working-class life in Scotland, and the TV dramas ''Tutti Frutti (1987 TV series), Tutti Frutti'' and ''Your Cheatin' Heart (TV series), Your Cheatin' Heart''.
