Jamie Plunkett
Jamie Plunkett is a former Professional Lacrosse player with the Boston Rockhoppers, Arizona Sting and Hershey Haymakers of the National Lacrosse league and the North American Lacrosse League. He currently is Coaching SCC-BLAX in Berlin. He is also the Co-Founder for thDeutschland Adler Lacrosse Club which is the Unofficial National indoor lacrosse team in Germany. Czech National Lacrosse team: Plunkett has twice played with the Czech National Lacrosse Team. The first time is 2011 at the World Indoor Lacrosse Championships in Prague, where he led his team to a 4th-place finish, losing to USA in the Bronze medal game. Boston Rockhoppers
The Boston Rockhoppers were an United States, American indoor lacrosse team based in Marlborough, Massachusetts. Formerly a member of the North American Lacrosse League, the Rockhoppers played their home games at New England Sports Center. On June 18, 2013, the Rockhoppers and the rest of the North American Lacrosse League announced that they would be suspending operations. History The franchise was announced as an expansion member of the North American Lacrosse League on January 14, 2012. Originally scheduled to be a 2013 expansion team, due to initial struggles and as a result of the NALL and Professional Lacrosse League, PLL split, the Rockhoppers moved up their first season to 2012. Arizona Sting
The Arizona Sting was a member of the National Lacrosse League from 2004 to 2007. They played at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, from 2001 to 2003 as the Columbus Landsharks. On August 28, 2003, it was announced that the team was relocating to Glendale, Arizona. The team adopted the name Sting in November 2003 and began playing in the Glendale Arena (now Desert Diamond Arena). In 2005, the Sting defeated the 2004 NLL champion Calgary Roughnecks to win the franchise's first-ever West Division title. The Sting fell 19-13 to the East Division champion Toronto Rock in the league championships. On October 16, 2007, the NLL announced that the 2008 season had been cancelled due to the failure of the league and the Professional Lacrosse Players' Association to reach a new collective bargaining agreement. Hershey Haymakers
The Pennsylvania Haymakers were an American professional indoor lacrosse team based in Pennsylvania. They are a charter member of the Professional Lacrosse League. They were previously known as the Hershey Haymakers and intended to play in Hershey, Pennsylvania. However, they did not secure a lease to the Giant Center. World Indoor Lacrosse Championships
The World Box Lacrosse Championship (WBLC), formerly known as the World Indoor Lacrosse Championship (WILC), is an international box lacrosse tournament sponsored by World Lacrosse that is held every four years. Since the first tournament in 2003, Canada has won all five gold medals and is undefeated in all games. Canada hosted the first two tournaments in 2003 and 2007, the Czech Republic hosted in 2011, the Onondaga Nation, south of Syracuse, New York, hosted in 2015. Turkey Lacrosse Association (TLA) is a non-profit organization formed to educate and disseminate information on the sport of lacrosse in Turkey and globally. The World Lacrosse Championship (WLC) is the international men's field lacrosse championship organized by World Lacrosse that occurs every four years. The WLC began before any international lacrosse organization had been formed. It started as a four-team invitational tournament which coincided with Lacrosse in Canada, Canada's centennial lacrosse celebration in 1967.
