James Roe (American Football)
James Edward Roe II (born August 23, 1973) is a former American football wide receiver and coach. He served as the offensive coordinator for the Baltimore Brigade of the Arena Football League (AFL) from 2017–2019. He played for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL) from 1996–1998. High school career James Roe attended Henrico High School in Henrico, Virginia where he was an All-State and All-Richmond Metro honoree in football and an All-Richmond Metro honoree in basketball. James was also an All-Capital District honoree in track and field. James Roe graduated from Henrico High School in 1991. James Elphinstone Roe
James Elphinstone Roe (c. 18 October 1818 – May 1897) was a convict transported to Western Australia. After serving his sentence he became one of the colony's ex-convict school teachers. Through his agitation for education reform, he played an important role in "shaping the education system and political policies in the colony". He later distinguished himself as a journalist. James Elphinstone Roe was born in Kirkby on Bain, Lincolnshire, and baptised there on 18 October 1818. His father was Rev. Thomas Roe, the town's rector, and his mother was Catherine Sarah née Elphinstone. Nothing is known of his childhood, but in June 1836 he began studies at Worcester College, Oxford. During his university years he was a member of the Oxford Movement, an organisation that aimed to return the Church of England to its Catholic roots, and which later collapsed after one of its leaders renounced the Church of England and converted to Catholicism. James Roe MBE (born 28 March 1988) is a British adaptive rower. He was part of the mixed coxed team that won gold at both the 2011 World Rowing Championships and the 2012 Summer Paralympics. Personal life Roe was born on 28 March 1988 in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, England. He is visually impaired. In 2009 he graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Art. Rowing Roe started rowing when he joined his local club (Stratford Upon-Avon Boat Club) at the age of 12. He competes in the legs, trunks and arms adaptive mixed coxed four (LTAMix4+) event and won a gold medal at the 2009 World Rowing Championships, alongside Vicky Hansford, David Smith, Naomi Riches and cox Rhiannon Jones. Jimmy Roe
Jimmy Roe (December 27, 1908 – August 8, 1999) was a U.S. soccer Striker (association football), inside left who spent his entire career in the St. Louis leagues. He was called into the United States men's national soccer team, national team in 1937, but suffered a career ending knee injury before his first game with the team. He was inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame in 1997. Youth Roe began playing organized soccer with his school, team St. Matthew School which was among the best teams in the St. Louis Catholic Youth Council. He attended Christian Brothers College High School, Christian Brothers College High School where he also played soccer and is a member of the CBC Alumni Hall of Fame. Cashel (UK Parliament Constituency)
Cashel is a former British Parliament constituency in Ireland, returning one MP. It was an original constituency represented in Parliament when the Union of Great Britain and Ireland took effect on 1 January 1801. There were problems with the 21 November 1868 election in the Borough. A petition was presented by the losing candidate, alleging corruption. As a result, the election was declared void. Parliament then passed the Sligo and Cashel Disenfranchisement Act 1870 (33 & 34 Vict. c.38). On 1 August 1870 Cashel lost the right to elect its own MP. The area was transferred to form part of the Tipperary (UK Parliament constituency). History The corporation of the city of Cashel existed, as the local government of its area, until it was abolished by the Municipal Corporations (Ireland) Act 1840.
