James Pindall
James Pindall (November 22, 1825) was a U.S. Representative from Virginia. Born in Monongalia County, Virginia (now West Virginia), Pindall attended the common schools. After studying law, he was admitted to the bar in 1803 and practiced in Morgantown. Later, he moved to Clarksburg and continued the practice of his profession. The colonel () in the United States Army, Marine Corps, Air Force and Space Force, is the most senior field-grade military officer rank, immediately above the rank of lieutenant colonel and just below the rank of brigadier general. Colonel is equivalent to the naval rank of captain in the other uniformed services. Clarksburg is a city in and the county seat of Harrison County, West Virginia, United States, in the north-central region of the state. The population of the city was 16,039 at the 2020 census.
