James Parker (hammer Thrower)
James D. Parker (born December 3, 1975, in Biloxi, Mississippi) is a retired American track and field athlete who specialized in the hammer throw. He represented the United States at the 2004 Summer Olympics without making the final. He won the silver medal at the 2003 Pan American Games. His personal best in the event is from 2004. United States Air Force World Class Athlete Program
The Department of the Air Force World Class Athlete Program (WCAP) is a military program designed to support nationally and internationally ranked athlete Airmen and Guardians and prepare them to qualify for the U.S. Olympic team and compete at the highest level of international competition.
