James Palmer Jr.
James Alfred Palmer Jr. (born July 31, 1996) is an American professional basketball player for JL Bourg of the French LNB Pro A. He played college basketball for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. High school career Palmer started his freshman year at St. John's College High School in Washington, DC. After his freshman year, he transferred to Dr. Henry A. Wise High School in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. After attending his sophomore year at Wise HS he was recruited back to St. John's by new coach Sean McAloon, where he continued his junior and senior year. As a senior, he averaged 15.7 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game as he led his team to a 27-4 record and an appearance in D.C. State Athletic Association semifinal. Portsmouth Invitational Tournament
The Portsmouth Invitational Tournament, (PIT), is the oldest amateur basketball tournament in the United States and the only postseason camp restricted to college basketball seniors. The Portsmouth Invitational is the first of two NBA pre-draft camps, the other being the Orlando pre-draft camp. In 2019, SB Ballard construction was the lead sponsor of the uniforms as they began to expand into building arenas around the country. It was announced on March 14, 2020, the 68 annual Portsmouth Invitational Tournament was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. The four-day tournament format consists of twelve games (eight teams of eight players each play three games) and has been held annually since 1953. Polska Liga Koszykówki (PLK) (English language, English: Polish Basketball League) is a professional men's club basketball list of basketball leagues, league in Poland. The Motor City Cruise are an American professional basketball team in the NBA G League based in Detroit, Michigan, and are affiliated with the Detroit Pistons. The 2019–20 NBA G League season was the 19th season of the NBA G League, the official minor league basketball organization owned by the National Basketball Association (NBA). The season was suspended indefinitely on March 12, 2020, following the NBA's suspension due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The remainder of the season was cancelled on June 4. League changes The Atlanta Hawks' G League franchise that had been playing as the Erie BayHawks since 2017 relocated as planned to College Park, Georgia, following the completion of the Gateway Center Arena and were renamed the College Park Skyhawks.
