James Marcou (born February 19, 1988) is an American professional ice hockey player who is currently playing for the Worcester Sharks in the American Hockey League. San Jose Sharks
The San Jose Sharks are a professional ice hockey team based in San Jose, California. They compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Pacific Division in the Western Conference, and are owned by San Jose Sports & Entertainment Enterprises. Beginning play in the 1991–92 season, the Sharks initially played their home games at the Cow Palace, before moving to their present home, now named SAP Center at San Jose, in 1993; the SAP Center is known locally as "the Shark Tank". Hockey East
The Hockey East Association, also known as Hockey East, is a college ice hockey conference which operates entirely in New England. It participates in the NCAA's Division I as a hockey-only conference. Hockey East came into existence in 1984 for men's hockey when most of its current members split from what is today known as ECAC Hockey, after disagreements with the Ivy League members. The women's league, the WHEA, began play in 2002. On October 5, 2011, the University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish (an ACC member outside football) announced they would be joining Hockey East as the conference's first non-New England school in 2013 after the CCHA folded. Gustav Nyquist
Gustav Nyquist (born 1 September 1989) is a Swedish professional ice hockey forward and alternate captain for the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League (NHL). Nyquist was drafted 121st overall by the Detroit Red Wings in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, with whom he spent the first portion of his NHL career. He also briefly played for the San Jose Sharks. Early life Nyquist was born in Halmstad in southern Sweden. He and his family later moved to the city of Malmö, where Nyquist began playing hockey for a local youth team, Limhamn Hockey. He later joined the Malmö Redhawks organization, playing for their under −16, −18 and −20 teams. Robert "Bobby" Butler (born April 26, 1987) is an American professional ice hockey forward. He is currently playing with the Worcester Railers in the ECHL. He formerly played in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Ottawa Senators, New Jersey Devils, Nashville Predators and Florida Panthers and won the 2011 Calder Cup championship while with the Binghamton Senators. Bryan "Boomer" Ewing (born January 23, 1985) is an American ice hockey player for the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League. Ewing began his professional career in 2008 with the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL. Playing career Bryan Ewing attended Duxbury High School and Cushing Academy in Ashburnham, Massachusetts, graduating from the latter. He was named a Second Team New England All-Star as a senior. After graduation, he enrolled at Boston University and played there for four seasons. Each team is composed of at least one goaltender, two defensemen and three forwards on ice hockey programs. The American Hockey Coaches Association was formed in 1947 in Boston. The founding members coached college ice hockey but membership has grown to include coaches at every level of the sport from youth hockey to professional ice hockey, although the organization maintains a focus on the collegiate game.
