James O. Manley III (born July 11, 1974) is a former American football defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Vanderbilt University. James Manley (wrestler)
James Manley (born January 4, 1958) is an American retired professional wrestler, better known by the ring name Jim Powers. He worked for the World Wrestling Federation from 1984 to 1994, then elsewhere until 2010. He was born in Washington Heights, Manhattan, and grew up watching the then-regional promotion at Madison Square Garden. James Douglas Manly (born 29 October 1932) is a former Canadian politician who served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Cowichan—Malahat—The Islands from 1980 to 1988. A member of the New Democratic Party, he also was a clergyman, factory worker and logger by career. Before politics Manly was ordained a minister in the United Church of Canada in 1957. Political career His first attempt at entering federal politics was unsuccessful as he was defeated at British Columbia's Cowichan—Malahat—The Islands electoral district in the 1979 federal election. He won the riding in the 1980 federal election and was re-elected in the 1984 election. After this he left national politics having served in the 32nd and 33rd Canadian Parliaments. The 3rd Cavalry Regiment, formerly 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment ("Brave Rifles") is a regiment of the United States Army currently stationed at Fort Hood, Texas. The regiment has a history in the United States Army that dates back to 19 May 1846, when it was constituted in the Regular Army as the Regiment of Mounted Riflemen at Jefferson Barracks, Missouri. This unit was reorganized at the start of the American Civil War as the 3rd U.S. Cavalry Regiment on 3 August 1861. In January 1943, the regiment was re-designated as the 3rd Cavalry Group ( Mechanized). Today they are equipped with Stryker vehicles. The 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment was the last heavy armored cavalry regiment in the U.S. Army until it officially became a Stryker regiment on 16 November 2011. James Keith Manley (born 1940) is an American songwriter and composer of hymns, as well as pastor in the United Church of Christ. Manley is best known for his 1975 hymn ''Spirit'' (also known as ''Spirit, Spirit of Gentleness''), included in the modern Presbyterian Hymnal as number 319. Born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, Manley was raised in Reno, Nevada, where his father, the Rev. Felix A. Manley, was pastor of the Federated Church of Reno, a Presbyterian-Congregational church (now First Congregational Church). Manley attended Whittier College and Pacific School of Religion, and received his Doctor of Ministry from Claremont College in 1976. From 1968 to 1978, he was chaplain at Mid-Pacific Institute in Honolulu, Hawaii.
