James Madison High School (JMHS) is a State school, public Secondary school, high school in Vienna, Virginia, Vienna, Virginia, United States. Vienna, Virginia
Vienna () is a town in Fairfax County, Virginia, United States. As of the 2020 U.S. census, Vienna has a population of 16,473. Significantly more people live in ZIP codes with the Vienna postal addresses (22180, 22181, and 22182), bordered approximately by Interstate 66 on the south, Interstate 495 on the east, Route 7 to the north, and Hunter Mill Road to the west, than in the town itself. History Non-native settlement in the region dates to ca. 1740. In 1754, prominent soldier and land owner Colonel Charles Broadwater settled within the town boundaries. Broadwater's son-in-law, John Hunter built the first recorded house there in 1767, naming it Ayr Hill to recall his birthplace, Ayr, Scotland. Jim McNamara
James Patrick McNamara (born June 10, 1965) is a former professional baseball player. He played parts of two seasons in Major League Baseball as a catcher for the San Francisco Giants in 1992-93. Career Prior to being drafted by the Giants in the fifth round of the 1986 amateur draft, McNamara attended both James Madison High School and North Carolina State University, where he played college baseball for the Wolfpack. He began his professional career with the Everett Giants in 1986. With them, he hit .247 with eight home runs and 30 RBI in 47 games. The following year, he played for the Clinton Giants, McNamara hit .247 with five home runs and 53 RBI in 385 at bats. Robert Richard Brower (born January 10, 1960) is a former Major League Baseball outfielder. He was born in Jamaica, New York. Bob attended college at Duke University on a football scholarship. and was signed by the Texas Rangers in 1982. Brower played four seasons in the majors, with the Texas Rangers (1986–1988) and the New York Yankees in 1989. He had 141 hits in 582 at bats, 17 home runs and 60 RBI.
