James Kavanagh (public Figure)
James Alan Kavanagh (born 17 July 1989) is an Irish social media personality, influencer, entrepreneur, television presenter, socialite, podcaster, and occasional DJ. He rose to prominence on Snapchat in 2015 doing vlogs and parodies. He has since gained a large following online, amassing over 110,000 followers across Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. He is admired by his fans for his over-the-top reactions, observational humour and aesthetic choices. In 2016 Kavanagh and his partner William Murray started the food company Currabinny. Some of the pair's ventures include being finalists on RTÉ's The Taste of Success and producing their first book, ''The Currabinny Cookbook'', which was published by Penguin in 2018 and won ''EUROSPAR Cookbook of the Year'' at the 2018 An Post Irish Book Awards. Churchtown, Dublin
Churchtown () is a largely residential suburb on the southside of Dublin, between Rathfarnham and Dundrum. Landmarks Ely's Arch Braemor Road is still marked by a triumphal arch from the 18th century, which originally led to Rathfarnham Castle. The erection of this gateway is attributed to Henry Loftus, Earl of Ely from 1769 to 1783 who was also responsible for the classical work on the castle itself. The arch is named the new gate on Frizell's map of 1779. After the division of the estate in 1913, the arch became the entrance to the Castle Golf Club but was later abandoned in favour of the more direct Woodside Drive entrance. Braemor Road (and Braemor Drive, Braemor Avenue, etc.) was developed in the late 1940s and early 1950s by builders called Brady and Morton. RTÉ2 is an Irish free-to-air television channel operated by public service broadcaster RTÉ. It was launched in 1978 as the Republic of Ireland's second television channel. History In the 1970s, the Irish government considered three options for the introduction of a second television service: the re-transmission of BBC1 Northern Ireland; authorization of an independent commercial service; or charging RTÉ with the establishment of a second national channel. It was the last of these that was finally chosen. The channel—only the second in the Republic—began transmissions at 20:00 on 2 November 1978, opening with a broadcast of a gala ceremony from Cork Opera House. Curraghbinny
Curraghbinny (), also sometimes spelled Currabinny or Currabinney, is a townland in County Cork, Ireland. Located on Cork Harbour near Ringaskiddy and with an area of , it is a townland in the barony of Kerrycurrihy. As of the 2011 census, Curraghbinny townland had a population of 155 people. Lough Beg Bird Reserve and Curraghbinny Wood are located in the area. Curraghbinny Wood, a forested amenity of approximately , contains the remains of a Bronze Age cairn which is known locally as the "giant's grave". The cairn, which was subject to excavation in the 1930s (during which cremated human remains and a bronze ring were found), was restored in the 1990s. ''Rude Tube'' is a British television programme broadcast on Channel 4 and its sister channel E4. Most of the programme's episodes have been presented by British comedian Alex Zane, who launched the show's pilot episode in February 2008. Comedian Matt Kirshen presented the show's first full series in 2008 on E4. Zane has hosted the show since its 2009 New Year special. Johnny Vegas and Emma Frain have also featured in multiple sketches between clips on episodes hosted by Alex Zane. Wilson's Hospital School
Wilson's Hospital School is a Church of Ireland, co-educational boarding school located in a protected Georgian building in Multyfarnham, County Westmeath, Ireland, outside of Mullingar. Founded in 1761, it is "Westmeath's oldest school". History Wilson's Hospital School was founded in 1761 by Andrew Wilson as a school for young Protestant boys and also as a hospital for old men. The school's main Georgian building, including its 220-seater chapel, was designed by architect John Pentland and completed between 1759 and 1761.
