James Holtzclaw

	James Holtzclaw James Holtzclaw (born October 6, 1975) is a Republican Idaho State Representative and a United States Air Force veteran, currently representing District 20 in Meridian, Idaho. Early life, education, and career James Holtzclaw was born October 6, 1975, in Rome, Georgia. After high school, he joined the United States Air Force, where he served for 10 years with 5 oversees deployments. He is a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a member of the American Legion, Post 113. He attended George Fox University. where he earned his BA in management. In 2015, Idaho governor Butch Otter awarded Holtzclaw the Meritorious Service Medal for his service with the Idaho Military Division after recommendations by the Idaho Military Division's two JAG Officers, LTC Paul Boice and CPT Stephen Stokes.
