James Hartigan
James Edward Hartigan (born in Carshalton, South London) is an English journalist and broadcaster who is best known as a poker commentator on British and American television, and as a presenter and film critic on London talk radio station LBC. Background Hartigan grew up in Sutton, South London and Banstead, Surrey. He went to university at Christ Church College Canterbury, graduating in 1996 with a BA in Radio, Film and Television and English Literature. Radio Hartigan began his broadcasting career as a film critic at BBC Radio Kent and journalist at County Sound Radio before joining London’s Heart 106.2 in 1998 as the news anchor on Jono Coleman’s Breakfast Show. Carshalton
Carshalton () is a town, with a historic village centre, in south London, England, within the London Borough of Sutton. It is situated south-southwest of Charing Cross, in the valley of the River Wandle, one of the sources of which is Carshalton Ponds in the middle of the village. Prior to the creation of Greater London in 1965, Carshalton was in the administrative county of Surrey. Carshalton consists of a number of neighbourhoods. The main focal point, Carshalton Village, is visually scenic and picturesque. North American Poker Tour
The North American Poker Tour (NAPT) was a series of international poker tournaments held in North America. The NAPT included an associated television series broadcasting the final table of some of the tournaments. The NAPT was started in 2010 by PokerStars, then the largest online poker cardroom in the world. The televised series aired on ESPN2 in the United States. Players were able to enter the NAPT events by paying the entry fee or by playing online poker freeroll satellites on the PokerStars.net domain. Season 1 consisted of 7 events played in 2010. Joe Stapleton is an American poker commentator. He has been an active commentator since 2009, and currently works for PokerStars. Stapleton did numerous broadcasts for the European Poker Tour. In 2011, Joe Stapleton was living in Los Angeles but working in Europe, flying to London twice a month, before living in England for three-and-a-half years. He then moved back to New York for one year, and he has been travelling back to Los Angeles since 2016.
