James Harris (cricketer, Born 1990)
James Alexander Russell Harris (born 16 May 1990) is a Welsh professional cricketer who was born at Morriston, (a Swansea suburb) in South Wales. Harris is a right arm fast bowler and right-handed batsman who represented Glamorgan (2007-2012) and Middlesex (2013-2021). He announced his return to Glamorgan for the 2022 season, on 23 July 202 Career Harris was the youngest person ever to play for Glamorgan 2nd XI, aged 14 years and 353 days and the youngest person to have played for Wales Minor Counties, when he took 3/48 against the Netherlands cricket team, Netherlands. In 2006 he captained England Under-16s team and at the age of 15 signed up for Glamorgan. He made his first class debut in 2007, at the age of 17. Morriston
Morriston (; cy, Treforys ) is a Community (Wales), community in the City and County of Swansea, Wales and falls within the Morriston (electoral ward), Morriston ward. It is the largest community in Swansea county. Morriston is sometimes referred to as a distinct town (e.g. the local football club is named Morriston Town A.F.C.), however it has never had a town charter, and is now part of the continuous urban sprawl around Swansea, the centre of which lies three miles to the south-west. Robert Damien Bale Croft MBE (born 25 May 1970) is a former Welsh cricketer who played international cricket for England. He is an off-spin bowler who played for Glamorgan and captained the county from 2003 to 2006. He retired from first class cricket at the end of the 2012 season, having played county cricket for 23 seasons. He commentates on cricket occasionally for Sky Sports. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. St Lawrence Ground
The St Lawrence Ground is a cricket ground in Canterbury, Kent. It is the home ground of Kent County Cricket Club and since 2013 has been known as The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence, due to commercial sponsorship. It is one of the oldest grounds on which first-class cricket is played, having been in use since 1847, and is the venue for Canterbury Cricket Week, the oldest cricket festival in the world. It is one of the two grounds used regularly for first-class cricket that have had a tree, the St Lawrence Lime, within the boundary.
