James Brogan (footballer Born 1890)
James Brogan (born 1890) was a professional association football, footballer who played for Bristol Rovers F.C., Bristol Rovers prior to the World War I, First World War. Brogan joined Rovers in 1910, having previously been playing football in Glasgow. He made 106 Southern Football League, Southern League appearances at inside forward and scored 24 goals prior to the outbreak of war, and was Rovers' top goalscorer in the 1912–13 in English football, 1912–13 season with eleven goals. After the conflict he played in Scotland with Airdrieonians F.C. (1878), Airdrieonians and St Bernard's F.C., St Bernard's. References Sources

Burnbank is an area in the town of Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, Scotland. It was formerly a separate mining village before being absorbed into the town. Location and governance Burnbank, previously an independent settlement, then part of Hamilton Burgh (in the historic County of Lanarkshire) and then Hamilton District (in the historic Strathclyde Region) is now a district of Hamilton within the South Lanarkshire Unitary Council. Today Burnbank is surrounded by other suburban neighbourhoods, bordered by Hillhouse and Udston to the south, the western part of Hamilton to the east, Whitehill to the north and the town of Blantyre to the west, with the Park Burn denoting the boundary.
