James Baxter (animator)
James Baxter (born 24 May 1967) is a British character animator. He was first known for his work on several Walt Disney Animation Studios films, including various characters in ''Who Framed Roger Rabbit'', Belle in ''Beauty and the Beast'', Rafiki in ''The Lion King'', and Quasimodo in ''The Hunchback of Notre Dame''. After ''The Hunchback of Notre Dame'', Baxter moved over to DreamWorks Animation working on films such as ''The Prince of Egypt'', ''The Road to El Dorado'', '' Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron'', ''Shrek 2'' and ''Madagascar''. Early in 2005, Baxter left DreamWorks and set out on his own as an independent animator. He became the head of his own studio, James Baxter Animation in Pasadena, California where he has directed the animation for the 2007 film '' Enchanted'' and the opening credits to DreamWorks' ''Kung Fu Panda.'' Stephen McDannell Hillenburg (August 21, 1961 – November 26, 2018) was an American animator, writer, producer, director, and marine science educator. He is known for creating the Nickelodeon animated television series ''SpongeBob SquarePants'', on which he served as the showrunner for the first three seasons of the show, and which has become the fifth-longest-running American animated series. Born in Lawton, Oklahoma and raised in Anaheim, California, Hillenburg became fascinated with the ocean as a child and developed an interest in art. Frederator Studios is an American animation television production studio which is a division of Frederator Networks, Inc. It was founded by Fred Seibert in 1997 with its first series launching in 1998. (Seibert resigned from Frederator in August 2020 after 22 years and on February 23, 2021 announced a new cartoon production company, FredFilms.) A monster is a type of fictional creature found in horror, fantasy, science fiction, folklore, mythology and religion.
