James Jeffrey Barker (born 6 November 1892 in Ilkeston, England, died 18 October 1947 in Birmingham, England) was a British track and field athlete who competed in the 1912 Summer Olympics. James Frazier Barker
James Frazier Barker (born May 1, 1947) is the former president of Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina. Early life and education Barker was born in Kingsport, Tennessee and graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School. He attended Clemson University and graduated with a degree in architecture in 1970. He then attended Washington University in St. Louis, earning a master's degree in architecture in 1973. Career Following graduation, Barker was hired as an assistant professor of architecture at the University of Tennessee. In 1974, he moved to Mississippi State University. In 1984 he became dean of architecture at Mississippi State. Barker became dean of architecture at Clemson University in 1986, a position he held until his election as president in 1999. Jim Barker
James Barker (born August 25, 1956) is a senior advisor for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Barker has been the general manager of the Calgary Stampeders from 2005-07, and the Argonauts from 2011-2016. He was also the head coach of the Argonauts in 1999, with the Stampeders in 2003, and then again with the Argos in 2010-11. He has also been a sports analyst for the CFL on TSN. Barker has also served as a football operations consultant and assistant coach for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. James Madison Barker (13 March 1886 – 3 July 1974) was an American banker and business executive who worked for First National Bank of Boston, Sears, Roebuck & Company, and Allstate Insurance Company. He was born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, the son of Charles Trueworth Barker III, a clothing salesman, and Emma Jane Burke Barker. Barker began his career as a civil engineer, earning his degree in engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1903. In 1914, he married Margaret Rankin, whom he met on a trip to the Panama Canal. After the birth of their three children, Barker took a more financially stable position developing a First National Bank of Boston branch in Buenos Aires, Argentina. James Francis Barker (1872 – 10 December 1950) was the second president of the Rochester Athenæum and Mechanics Institute, succeeding Carleton B. Gibson, from 1916–1919. He was born in 1872 in Keokuk, Iowa, the son of a railroad ticketing agent and a New Orleanian of Spanish and French extraction. His ancestors on his father's side included 11 of the 15 families who settled Nantucket in 1659. Many of his music works include an ethereal mixture of live sonic experimentation with grandiose classical motifs and alternative percussion.
