Jamel Dean (born October 15, 1996) is an American football cornerback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Auburn. College career After spending a semester at Ohio State while medically disqualified, Dean announced that he would transfer to Auburn in May 2015. Following his sophomore year at Auburn where he had 43 tackles and eight pass breakups, Dean was named to Bruce Feldman's college football freaks list. On December 29, 2018, Dean announced that he would forgo his final year of eligibility and declare for the 2019 NFL Draft. Cornerback
A cornerback (CB) is a member of the defensive backfield or secondary in gridiron football. Cornerbacks cover receivers most of the time, but also blitz and defend against such offensive running plays as sweeps and reverses. The 2019 NFL Draft was the 84th annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible players for the 2019 NFL season.
