Jamal Trulove
Jamal Trulove is a San Francisco man framed by police for the 2007 murder of an acquaintance, convicted in 2010, sentenced to 50 years to life, and imprisoned for six years. A California appeals court overturned his conviction in 2014 and he was retried in 2015 and acquitted. In 2016 he sued the city of San Francisco. In April 2018 a jury found the two officers accused of framing him guilty of fabricating evidence and failing to disclose exculpatory evidence. In 2019 the San Francisco Board of Supervisors voted to approve a settlement of $13.1 million. The San Francisco Board of Supervisors is the legislative body within the government of the City and County of San Francisco. ''I Love New York 2'' is the second season of the VH1 reality television series ''I Love New York''. ''I Love New York 2'' starred Tiffany "New York" Pollard who was on a quest to find her true love. Her relationship with season one's winner, Tango, ended shortly after the season concluded. Unlike the first season, Mauricio Sanchez did not return as "Chamo", New York's assistant. Instead of "Chamo", New York had "Big Ant" (Anthony) as her assistant, and "Bodyguard". The show premiered on October 8, 2007, and featured twenty men competing to be the winner. Tiffany Pollard (born January 6, 1982) is an American television personality. She came to public prominence for her participation on the first two seasons of VH1's ''Flavor of Love'' (2006–2007). Pollard was given the nickname "New York" by rapper Flavor Flav. She is also known colloquially by her self-proclaimed nickname "HBIC" ("Head Bitch in Charge"), which she exclaimed in the ''Flavor of Love'' series to taunt her competitors. Her temperamental nature often led to tension with the other women on the show. Pollard starred in the show's spin-off ''I Love New York'' (2007–2008).
