Jamal Mahmoud
Jamal Mahmoud (born 1 May 1973) is a Jordanian football manager of Palestinian origin, who was a midfielder for Al-Wehdat and Shabab Al-Ordon. He was the head coach of the Palestine national football team from 2011 to 2014. Coaching career Jamal coached his long life club, Al-Wehdat, under Iraqi head coaches Akram Ahmad Salman (2008–2009) and Thair Jassam (2009–2010) until he became head coach himself and transferred to coaching in Palestine. In 2013, Mahmoud lead the Palestinian national football team to its first ever win in the WAFF Championship. He also led Palestinian national team to the 2014 AFC Challenge Cup title, securing 2015 AFC Asian Cup spot for the first time in the team's history. On 10 September 2014, Mahmoud resigned as coach of the Palestinian national team, bringing and end to his three successful years at the helm of the team just four months before the 2015 Asian Cup. Akram Ahmad Salman
Akram Ahmed Salman ( ar, أكرم أحمد سلمان; born 15 July 1945) is an Iraqi football manager and former head coach of Al-Wehdat. Playing career Akram Ahmed Salman began his career in 1963 as a player for Esalet Al-Mae, and went on to coach the team in 1970, as one of the youngest coaches in Iraq. Coaching career Akram Ahmed Salman coached the Iraq national team in 2015. He resigned from the position in June 2015. Salman is now leading Erbil in the 2018-2019 season. He took lead of the team in 28 April 2019, after the leave of Nadhum Shaker. Salman is coaching the Iraqi north team now. The Palestine Cup is the main national association football competition in Palestine. It is sanctioned by the Palestinian Football Association. Past competitions were more expansive including clubs from all tiers of Palestinian football. For the 2010–11 season the PFA restricted participation to just the 12 teams of the 2010–11 West Bank Premier League. The Jordanian Pro League ( ar, الدوري الأردني للمحترفين) is a Jordanian professional league for men's football clubs and represents the top flight of Jordanian football. The championship consists of twelve competing teams in a home and away league system. The league not held in the years : 1948, 1953, 1957, 1958, 1967, 1968, 1969, and not finished in the 1998 in 2002 the league change calendar to a fall spring season.
