Jamaica Women's National Rugby Union Team
The Jamaica women's national rugby union team are a national sporting side of Jamaica, representing them at rugby union. They played their first sevens international in 2000, and their first test in 2003. History Jamaica played their first international against Trinidad and Tobago on 3 December, 2003 in Port of Spain. It was the inaugural NAWIRA Women's Rugby Championship that was hosted in Trinidad and Tobago's capital; the hosts were victorious in both games as they kept Jamaica scoreless both times. In 2006, Jamaica hosted Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago in September. Despite a narrow loss to Guyana in the opening match, Jamaica managed an impressive win against Trinidad and Tobago to win their first tournament due to their higher goal difference. The 2003 NAWIRA Women's Rugby Championship was the inaugural edition of the tournament in the region. The event was hosted by Trinidad and Tobago in Port of Spain, on the 3rd and 4th of December. 2011 NACRA Women's Rugby Championship
The 2011 NACRA Women's Rugby Championship was the second tournament, hosted by the Cayman Islands, saw the return to competition of island teams from Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica and hosts, the Cayman Islands; but no teams from outside the Caribbean, possibly because the tournament clashed with the U20 Nations Cup. Other islands were again represented by a Caribbean Select XV. For the first time, all matches in the tournament were streamed live by Cayman Rugby TV. Jamaica

The Trinidad and Tobago women's national rugby union team is a national sporting side that represents Trinidad and Tobago in Women's rugby union. They played their first test match in 2003 and compete annually in the Rugby Americas North Women's Rugby Championship. History Trinidad and Tobago competed in the inaugural NAWIRA Women's Rugby Championship in 2003, they hosted Jamaica in Port of Spain in a two-test series and were victorious in both games. Between 2016 and 2019 they competed in a ten-a-side version of the game as they tried to build-up the game in the region. The competition was cancelled in 2020 and 2021 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. 2022 saw the teams increase up to twelve players and the region had its first 12-a-side tournament. The RAN Women's Rugby Championship is the regional championship for women's international rugby union in North America and the Caribbean that is sanctioned by Rugby Americas North, RAN. Rugby tens, also known as ten-a-side and Xs, is a variant of rugby union in which teams are made up of ten players, typically five Rugby union positions#Forwards, forwards and five Rugby union positions#Backs, backs. USA Rugby South
USA Rugby South is an organization that combines a number of unions in the south-east of the USA for competition and representative honours. Their representative team is known as the Panthers. Originally formed as Southern Eastern Rugby Union in 1976, this representative team played against the North Eastern Rugby Union between 1976 and 1982. USA Rugby South organizes inter-union competitions between champion teams from each geographical union, who go on to represent USA Rugby South at national competitions. Since 2013, the USA Rugby South Panthers have competed in the NACRA Rugby Championship and were crowned champions in their first year, beating Trinidad and Tobago in the final.
