Jalen Camp
Jalen Camp (born July 10, 1998) is an American football wide receiver for the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Georgia Tech. College career Camp played college football at Georgia Tech under coaches Paul Johnson and Geoff Collins. He finished his career at Georgia Tech with 48 receptions for 808 yards and five touchdowns in 48 career games. Professional career Jacksonville Jaguars Camp was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the sixth round with the 209th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. Camp signed his four-year rookie contract with Jacksonville on May 17. He was waived on August 31, 2021. Houston Texans On September 3, 2021, Camp was signed to the Houston Texans practice squad. Paul Johnson (American Football)
Paul Clayton Johnson (born August 20, 1957) is a retired American football coach. He served as the head football coach at Georgia Southern University from 1997 to 2001, the United States Naval Academy from 2002 to 2007, and Georgia Tech, from 2008 to 2018, compiling a career college football coaching record of 189–100. Johnson's Georgia Southern Eagles won consecutive NCAA Division I-AA Football Championships in 1999 and 2000. He is noted for his use of the flexbone spread option offense. Early life and education Johnson earned his Bachelor of Science degree in physical education from Western Carolina University in 1979, where he was a member of the Kappa Alpha Order. The 2021 NFL Draft was the 86th National Football League Draft, the annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible players for the 2021 NFL season. The draft was held in Cleveland from April 29 to May 1, 2021. Geoff Collins (American Football)
William Geoffrey Collins (born April 10, 1971) is an American football coach and former player. Collins was the head coach at Georgia Tech from December 7, 2018, to September 25, 2022. He was previously the head coach at Temple University, and had served in the past as defensive coordinator for the University of Florida and Mississippi State University. Coaching career Early career Collins graduated from Rockdale County High School in Conyers, Georgia, where he played for coach and mentor Bob Smith. He went on to play football at Western Carolina University. Following his graduation, Collins served as a student assistant at Western Carolina, his alma mater, during the 1993 and 1994 seasons.
