Jalan Seri Kembangan
Jalan Seri Kembangan, or Jalan Putra Permai and Jalan Besar, Federal Route 3215 (formerly Selangor state route B16), is a major highway in Selangor, Malaysia. This 9.4 km (5.8 miles) toll-free highway connects Serdang interchange of the Damansara–Puchong Expressway in the southwest to Seri Kembangan interchange of the Besraya Expressway in the northeast. Seri Kembangan
Seri Kembangan, formerly known as Serdang New Village, is a town located in Petaling District, Selangor, Malaysia. The town is now a considerable city in size. It is located near the northern end of the PLUS Expressway Southern Route . History Seri Kembangan was established as the Serdang New Village in 1950 when the British moved Malaysian Chinese villagers living around Sungai Besi to a centralised location due to the Communist threat during the Malayan Emergency as part of the Briggs Plan. In its early days, the village had 50 houses and all were built from scratch because the British only provided empty plots of land. The area was close to rubber estates and the jungle posed dangers of a different kind. Most of the 15,000 inhabitants earned meagre incomes as mining workers and rubber tappers. North–South Expressway Southern Route
The North–South Expressway Southern Route is an interstate controlled-access highway running parallel to the southwestern coast of Peninsular Malaysia. The expressway forms the south section of the North–South Expressway, connecting the states of Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Malacca and Johor. It begins at Seri Kembangan, near the state/territory boundary between Selangor and Kuala Lumpur and travels southwards to end at Pandan-Tebrau in Johor. Kajang Dispersal Link Expressway, SILK, also known as Kajang SILK Highway (Malay Language, Malay: ''Sistem Lingkaran-Lebuhraya Kajang''), is an expressway built to disperse and regulate the traffic flow in Kajang, Selangor, Malaysia. Putrajaya–Cyberjaya Expressway, Federal Route 29, is a major expressway in Klang Valley, Malaysia. The 21.2 km (13.2 mi) expressway connects Serdang interchange on Damansara–Puchong Expressway to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) in Sepang.
