Jalan Jendral Sudirman
Jalan Jenderal Sudirman or Jalan Sudirman (Sudirman Road) is a major thoroughfare in Jakarta, Indonesia. Named after Indonesian national hero Sudirman, the road runs from Patung Pemuda Membangun at the south end to the bridge of the West Flood Canal to the north, where it meets Jalan M.H. Thamrin. The road had been built between 1949 and 1953 to connect Central Jakarta with Kebayoran Baru. Transportation A part of Jakarta MRT runs underneath the total length of Jalan Jenderal Sudirman. Four stations of the MRT ( Senayan, Istora Mandiri, Bendungan Hilir, and Setiabudi Astra) located along this road. Sudirman station of KRL Commuterline, BNI City station of Soekarno–Hatta Airport Rail Link, and the upcoming Dukuh Atas station of Greater Jakarta LRT are located at the north end of the road as a part of Dukuh Atas TOD. Sudirman Railway Station
Sudirman Station (SUD, formerly Dukuh Atas Station) is a train station of KRL Commuterline, which is located in Menteng, Central Jakarta, Indonesia. The station is named from Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, one of the main avenue in Jakarta, which crosses above the station. This station is located on the north bank of West Flood Canal. Though this station serves only Commuterline trains, but it is a Transit-oriented development, transit point for other types of public transportation as part of the Dukuh Atas TOD. Semanggi Interchange ( id, Simpang Susun Semanggi) or commonly known as Semanggi Bridge () is a major road interchange in Jakarta, Indonesia which consists of a cloverleaf interchange (hence , "clover")—the first, and until the 1990s the only, of its kind in Indonesia—and a partial turbine interchange. The Plaza Semanggi is a commercial complex at Semanggi Interchange in South Jakarta, Indonesia. The commercial center includes a shopping mall, an auditorium Balai Sarbini and office tower ''Gedung Veteran RI''. The auditorium and office tower were constructed in 1973. The name The Plaza Semanggi more correctly refers to the shopping mall which was opened in 2004 with the refurbishment of Balai Sarbini and Gedung Veteran RI. The Greater Jakarta LRT or Jabodebek LRT is a light rail system currently under construction in Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia, as well as the adjacent areas of West Java and Banten, both within the Jakarta Metropolitan area. It is being implemented by the central government. To be directly operated by Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) (rather than by its subsidiary KAI Commuter), the system is planned to connect the Jakarta city center with suburbs in Greater Jakarta such as Bogor, Depok and Bekasi, hence its acronym "Jabodebek".
