Jake Young (American Football)
Jacob Cardwell Young III (March 22, 1968 – October 12, 2002) was an American football center who played college football for the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and attended Midland Lee High School in Midland, Texas. He was a first-team All-American in 1988 and a consensus first-team All-American in 1989. Young was inducted into the Nebraska Football Hall of Fame in 2000. Jake Young (footballer)
Jake Alan Young (born 22 July 2001) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for club Bradford City. Young joined Sheffield United from Guiseley in 2019, though moved on to Forest Green Rovers in July 2020 without playing a first-team game for Sheffield United. He played over 50 games for Forest Green, helping the club to win the League Two title in the 2021–22 campaign, and was signed to Bradford City in May 2022. He spent the second half of the 2022–23 season on loan at Barrow and was loaned out to Swindon Town for the 2023–24 season, though was recalled to Bradford halfway through after scoring 16 goals in 25 League Two fixtures.
