Jaiyden Hunt
Jaiyden Hunt (born 20 July 1998) is an Australian rugby league footballer who plays as a forward for the Brisbane Broncos in the National Rugby League (NRL). Background Hunt was born in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Hunt has American heritage through his grandmother. He played his junior rugby league with St Brendans Brothers and the Easts Tigers before being signed by the Melbourne Storm. Hunt attended St Thomas More College, Sunnybank for his secondary education. Playing career In 2014, Hunt played for the Easts Tigers in the Cyril Connell Cup before moving up to their Mal Meninga Cup team in 2015. In 2016 and 2017, Hunt played for the Melbourne Storm in the Holden Cup. Brisbane Tigers
The Brisbane Tigers are a rugby league club based at Langlands Park, in the suburb of Coorparoo in Brisbane, Australia. Since 1996, they have competed in the Queensland Cup, having competed in the Brisbane Rugby League from 1934 to 1997, where they won eight premierships. Formed as Coorparoo in 1917, the club became the Eastern Suburbs Tigers in 1933, commonly referred to as Easts Tigers or Easts. The 2022 NRL season is the 115th season of professional rugby league in Australia and the 25th season run by the National Rugby League. Teams The lineup of teams remained unchanged for the 16th consecutive year. This became the second longest stretch of time (after 1947-1966 - 20 seasons) of a continuous line-up of teams in competition history (overtaking 1967-1981 - 15 seasons). Pre-season Pre-season matches were played between 12 February and 28 February 2022, before a 10-day lead up until the beginning of the regular season. It featured nineteen matches across three weekends, including the 2022 All Stars match, which was won by the Māori All Stars 16 – 10, and the annual Charity Shield match between the South Sydney Rabbitohs and St George Illawarra Dragons, which the Dragons won 16–10. Jubilee Stadium, also known as Kogarah Oval or by its sponsored name Netstrata Jubilee Stadium, is a multipurpose stadium in Carlton, New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. The Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks are an Australian professional rugby league club based in Cronulla, in the Sutherland Shire, Southern Sydney, New South Wales.
