Jai Shri Krishna (TV Series)
''Jai Shri Krishna'' (English: ''Hail Lord Krishna'') is an Indian drama television series produced by Sagar Pictures, which aired on Colors from 21 July 2008 to 15 September 2009. It is the remake of Ramanand Sagar's successful show ''Sri Krishna'' and was handled by Moti Sagar (son of Ramanand Sagar) of Sagar Pictures. It is based on Mahabharata, Harivamsa, Bhagavata Purana and the Vishnu Purana. Plot ''Jai Shri Krishna'' tells the story of the Bhagavan Vishnu's avatar, Shree Krishna. The story takes place in India, covering cities like Gokhul, Mathura, Hastinapur, and Dawaraka. It shows the different leelas, or stories, of Shree Krishna from his birth, childhood, teenage years, and time as prince of Mathura and prince of Dwarka. Meghan Jadhav is an Indian television and film actor. He made his acting debut in 2006 with '' Raavan'' playing young Vibhishan and he is known for his acclaimed role in ''Jai Shri Krishna'' (2008–09) as Shri Krishna. Vrindavana
Vrindavan (; ), also spelt Vrindaban and Brindaban, is a historical city in the Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh, India. Nanda (Hinduism)
Nanda () is a cow-herd chief, and the foster-father of Krishna, featured in the Harivamsha and the Puranas. Nanda is the son of Parjanya, a ruler of the Vraja region, who is a son of the Yadava king, Devamida. He is the chief of Gokulam, which is one of the most powerful territories of the Yadava tribe. Paundraka Vāsudēva is a king appearing in the Bhagawat Purana. According to it, he was the king of Pundra Kingdom. Some sources state he was an ally of both Jarasandha, the king of Magadha and Shakuni, the king of the Gandhara Kingdom. He was a major enemy of Krishna. Rukmini ( sa, रुक्मिणी, , ) is a Hindu goddess and the first queen and chief wife of Krishna.
