Jahnu Barua
Jahnu Barua (born 1952) is an Indian film director. He has written and directed a number of Assamese and Hindi films. Some of his notable films are '' Halodhia Choraye Baodhan Khai'' (1987), '' Firingoti'' (1992), ''Xagoroloi Bohu Door'' (1995), '' Maine Gandhi Ko Nahi Mara'' (2005), ''Konikar Ramdhenu'' (2003), ''Baandhon'' (2012), and ''Ajeyo'' (2014). Jahnu Barua has been conferred Padma Shri (2003) and Padma Bhushan (2015). He served as chairman of the Indian Film Directors' Association in 1993. Sivasagar
Sivasagar (Pron: or ) ("the sea of Shiva"), is a city in and headquarters of the Sivasagar district, Assam. Sivasagar is situated about 360 kilometers (224 mi) northeast of Guwahati. It is well known for its Ahom palaces and monuments. Sivasagar is an important centre for tea and oil industries today. Sivasagar is a part of Jorhat (Lok Sabha constituency). ''Har Pal'' ( en, Every Moment) is an unreleased Indian film directed by art cinema director Jahnu Barua, who previously directed the critically acclaimed ''Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara'' (2005). The film stars Preity Zinta, Shiney Ahuja and Isha Koppikar in leading roles. Dharmendra appears in a supporting role as Zinta's father. The film relates the love story between two neighbours, played by Zinta and Ahuja, who are paired together on-screen for the first time.
