Begum Jahanara of Palanpur (née Joan Falkiner) (1915-2003) was an Australian heiress who became the Begum of Palanpur, Palanpur, India, during the mid 20th-century. Her life story was later recorded in a biography written by a distant cousin, Australians, Australian author Suzanne Falkiner. Biography Joan Falkiner was born in Melbourne, Australia in 1915. Jahanara Alam ( bn, জাহানারা আলম; born 1 April 1993) is a Bangladeshi cricketer who plays for the Bangladesh women's national cricket team. She is a right-arm medium pace bowler and right-handed batter. She was a member of the team that won a silver medal in cricket against China at the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, China. Jahanara Begum
Jahanara Begum (23 March 1614 – 16 September 1681) was a Mughal princess and later the Padshah Begum of the Mughal Empire from 1631 to 1658 and again from 1668 until her death. She was the second and the eldest surviving child of Emperor Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal. After Mumtaz Mahal's untimely death in 1631, the 17-year-old Jahanara was entrusted with the charge of the royal seal and conferred the title of ''Padshah Begum'' (First lady) of the Mughal Empire, despite the fact that her father had three surviving wives. Jahanara Begum ( – 24 July 2021) was a Bangladeshi politician, a Jatiya Sangsad member representing the Rajbari-1 constituency and a State Minister of Cultural Affairs. Career Begum was the founding general secretary of Bangladesh Jubo Mohila Dal. Begum was a member of the women's seat-22 in the 5th Jatiya Sangsad in 1991.
