Jacques Morel (29 May 1922 in Paris – 9 April 2008 in Paris) was a French film and television actor. He was, perhaps, best known as the French language voice of the cartoon character, Obelix, in the animated adaptation of the comic book, Asterix. Jacques Morel died in Paris, France, on 9 April 2008, at the age of 85.
