Jacqueline Clipsham
Jacqueline Clipsham is a sculptor, ceramic artist, disability-rights activist, educator and museum professional. She was educated at Carleton College, University of Perugia, Italy, University of Grenoble France, Cleveland Institute of Art and Case Western Reserve University. She was a member of the Congress of Racial Equality (CORE) in the 1960s. At the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York city, she worked for the Disabled Museum Visitors services, acted as a consultant for the National Endowment for the Arts. She taught ceramic arts in Sumter, South Carolina, and later at the Brooklyn Museum Art School in New York. Her work is included in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, New York, and the Carnegie Museum of Art, Pittsburgh. Early life Clipsham was born in England to an American mother and British father, both of whom were engineers. She was born with achondroplasia. A bracket is either of two tall fore- or back-facing punctuation marks commonly used to isolate a segment of text or data from its surroundings. Hunterdon Art Museum
The Hunterdon Art Museum, previously known as the Hunterdon Art Center and the Hunterdon Museum of Art, is located in a historic stone mill at 7 Lower Center Street in Clinton, New Jersey. It was founded in 1952 when it purchased Dunham's Mill, the Stone Mill, for use as an art museum. The museum emphasizes that it is a "center for art, craft & design" and presents exhibitions featuring both local and national artists. The stone mill was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 for its significance in commerce and industry. With History In 1952, the American artists James Randall Marsh and Anne Steele Marsh of Pittstown, helped raise funds to purchase Dunham's Mill.
