Rodriquez Jacquees Broadnax (born April 15, 1994), better known as Jacquees (pronounced jah-kwees), is an American singer, songwriter, and rapper from Decatur, Georgia. In 2015, he signed a recording and management contract with Cash Money Records. His 2016 single, " B.E.D.", was on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 chart for seven weeks, peaking at number 69. His debut album, '' 4275'', was released on June 15, 2018. Career In 2007, Jacquees met his first manager, Corey Battle. He performed in a variety of talent shows before he met and switched management to Russell "Block" Spencer, who was CEO and founder of Block Entertainment. Jacquees worked in various recording studios as part of a production team. Block's focus was only rap music, not R&B. Background In 2018 Jacquees started to work on the album going for a direction that detached itself from the hip hop-influenced sound of his debut album, going for a pure R&B direction for an album that was supposed to be called ''Round II''. Deja Monét Trimble (born April 8, 1991), better known by her stage name Dej Loaf (stylized as DeJ Loaf), is an American rapper, singer and songwriter from Detroit, Michigan. She began her music career in 2011, and released her debut single "Just Do It" in 2012. In October 2014, she released her second mixtape, ''Sell Sole''. Early life Deja Trimble was raised on the East side of Detroit, Michigan. As a child, she often listened to music with her parents and grandmother, including 2Pac, Rakim and Miles Davis. Her father was killed when she was four years old. A self-described "good kid and a decent student" who mostly kept to herself, she began writing her own original music at the age of 9.
