Jacob Trueman (born 16 February 1999) is an English professional rugby league footballer who plays as a or for Hull F.C. in the Super League. He has previously played for the Castleford Tigers in the Super League and Bradford Bulls in the Championship. He has represented England at international level. The 2019 Rugby League World Cup 9s was the first staging of the Rugby League World Cup 9s tournament and took place on 18 and 19 October 2019 at Sydney's Bankwest Stadium. The tournament featured teams from 12 International Rugby League member countries, 4 of which also fielded teams in the women's tournament. In the men's final, Australia defeated New Zealand, while in the women's final, New Zealand defeated Australia. The 2019 Rugby League World Cup 9s was an international rugby league tournament played in the rugby league nines format, to be held in Australia on 18 and 19 October 2019. England Knights (previously known as Emerging England and England A) is considered the feeder team for the England rugby league team. The Knights play a key role in the development of emerging talent, allowing players to gain experience in an international environment and to compete for a place in the England first team. History 1990s–2000s: Origins The idea of a second England team originated in the 1990s as "Emerging England" to give young players a chance to play internationally before being called up to the senior side. 2021 Challenge Cup Final
The 2021 Challenge Cup Final was the 120th final of rugby league's Challenge Cup knock-out competition. It took place on 17 July 2021 at Wembley Stadium between Castleford Tigers and St Helens. Background The 2021 Challenge Cup Final was the first time St Helens and Castleford Tigers have played each other in the Challenge Cup Final. Michael Shenton
Michael Shenton (born 22 July 1986), also known by the nickname of "Shenny", is a former English professional rugby league footballer who played as a and was the captain of the Castleford Tigers ( Heritage № 810) in the Super League. An England international representative , he made his Castleford début in 2004 and played over 150 times for the club before transferring to St Helens ( Heritage № 1185) in 2010. In June 2012, Shenton signed a deal to re-join Castleford for the start of the 2013 season, and it was later announced that he would be club captain.
