Jacob Oboreh
Jacob Snapps Oboreh is a Nigerian Professor of Operations Research and Management who was a former Rector of Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro and the Pioneer Vice Chancellor of Delta State University of Science and Technology, Ozoro. He was the Rector of Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro from 2012 until his tenure expired in 2017. Career On 26 April 2021, Oboreh was appointed the pioneer Vice Chancellor of Delta State University of Science and Technology, Ozoro by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa. Ozoro
Ozoro is a city and the headquarter of Isoko North Local Government area of Delta State, Nigeria. It is one of the two administrative units in the Isoko region of elta State, southern Nigeria. Ozoro had been incorrectly spelt Usoro in some older maps of Nigeria. Ozoro, the capital city of Isoko North, has a population of approximately 186,000 inhabitants. Ifeanyi Okowa
Ifeanyichukwu Arthur Okowa (born 8 July 1959) is a Nigerian doctor and politician who has served as Governor of Delta State since May 2015. A member of the Peoples Democratic Party, he is the party's vice presidential nominee in the 2023 presidential election running alongside Atiku Abubakar. Born in Owa-Alero in 1959, Okowa graduated from the University of Ibadan in 1981. After schooling, he worked in medicine for several years before entering politics. Okowa first established himself in local politics before entering the state cabinet of Governor James Ibori in 1999. After leaving cabinet in 2006, Okowa made a failed primary bid for governor before returning to the state cabinet under his former opponent Emmanuel Uduaghan. The Delta State University, Abraka - popularly known as DELSU - is a State government-owned university in Nigeria with the main campus located at Abraka, Delta State and it's sub campus at Oleh. The Oleh campus was established with the 1995 Amended Edict. The university is a multiple- campus university having two campuses within a distance of about 200 km apart.
