Jacob Barnes
Jacob Andrew Barnes (born April 14, 1990) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Texas Rangers organization. He previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Milwaukee Brewers, Kansas City Royals, Los Angeles Angels, New York Mets, Toronto Blue Jays, Detroit Tigers and New York Yankees. Barnes made his MLB debut in 2016. Career Amateur career Barnes graduated from St. Petersburg High School. He enrolled at Florida Gulf Coast University and played college baseball for the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles. In 2011, his junior year, he had a 1–4 win-loss record with a 4.58 earned run average (ERA) in 55 innings pitched. He was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 14th round of the 2011 Major League Baseball draft and he signed. In baseball, the pitcher is the player who throws ("pitches") the baseball from the pitcher's mound toward the catcher to begin each play, with the goal of retiring a batter, who attempts to either make contact with the pitched ball or draw a walk. Biloxi Shuckers
The Biloxi Shuckers are a Minor League Baseball team of the Southern League and the Double-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. They are located in Biloxi, Mississippi, and are named in reference to the city's oyster industry and seafood heritage. The Shuckers play their home games at MGM Park. The Brevard County Manatees were a minor league baseball team of the Class A-Advanced Florida State League from 1994 to 2016. The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are a Minor League Baseball team of the Midwest League and the High-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. The Helena Brewers were a Minor League Baseball team in the Pioneer League located in Helena, Montana, from 1978 to 2018.
