Jackson Corpuz
Jackson Corpuz (born February 8, 1989) is a Filipino professional basketball player for the Magnolia Hotshots of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He was undrafted during the 2014 PBA draft and was later signed by the Mahindra Floodbuster in 2017. He is known as the "Pinoy Fukuda" and is also known for repeatedly dyeing his hair multiple colors. Professional career PBA D-League After going undrafted in 2014, Corpuz played for the Erase XFoliant Erasers, the Derulo Accelero Oilers, and the Bread Story Smashing Bakers in the PBA D-League. In the quarterfinals of the 2014-15 Aspirants' Cup, he and Jiovanni Jalalon each scored 21 points to force a rubber match for a slot in the semis. 2021 PBA Philippine Cup Finals
The 2021 Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Philippine Cup Finals was a best-of-7 championship series of the 2021 PBA Philippine Cup, and the conclusion of the conference's playoffs. The TNT Tropang Giga and the Magnolia Hotshots competed for the 43rd Philippine Cup championship and the 129th overall championship contested by the league. This was the first time that the two teams meet in the finals since the 2014 Commissioner's Cup, where Magnolia (named as San Mig Super Coffee Mixers during that time) won the championship against TNT (named as Talk 'N Text Tropang Texters during that time), three games to one. 2021 PBA Philippine Cup
The 2021 Philippine Cup, also known as the 2021 Honda PBA Philippine Cup for sponsorship reasons, was the first conference of the 2021 PBA season of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). The 43rd PBA Philippine Cup started on July 16, 2021, and ended on October 29, 2021. The tournament did not allow teams to hire foreign players or imports. On August 3, the league announced that it will be suspending their games beginning August 4 after the government declared that Metro Manila will be under Enhanced Community Quarantine from August 6 to 20. The league have appealed to the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) if they can continue their tournament in Batangas, which is under a more relaxed quarantine restrictions. The Barangay Ginebra San Miguel is a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). 2020 PBA Philippine Cup
The 2020 Philippine Cup, also known as the 2020 Honda PBA Philippine Cup for sponsorship reasons, is the only conference or tournament of the 2020 PBA season of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). The 42nd PBA Philippine Cup started on March 8, 2020. The tournament does not allow teams to hire foreign players or imports. Three days later, the PBA board of governors decided to indefinitely postpone the tournament, together with the PBA D-League Aspirants' Cup, and the launching of the PBA 3x3 league, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the country and the enforcement of the various quarantine restrictions throughout the country. Aldrech Ramos
John Aldrech Ramos (born April 3, 1988) is a Filipino professional basketball player for the Terrafirma Dyip of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). At 6'6", he plays both the small forward and power forward positions. Ramos is also a decent outside shooter. He was part of the FEU Tamaraws team who played back to back finals in seasons 73 and 74 against the Ateneo Blue Eagles. College career Ramos spent his college career in FEU for four years.
