Jackson Carman
Jackson Carman (born January 22, 2000) is an American football guard for the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Clemson, and was drafted by the Bengals in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Early life and high school Carman grew up in Fairfield, Ohio and attended Fairfield High School. He played along Michigan’s Erik All (TE) and Cincinnati’s Malik Vann (DE). Carman was rated a five-star recruit and the best collegiate prospect in Ohio by 247Sports, ESPN and Rivals. He committed to play college football at Clemson over offers from Ohio State and USC. College career Carman played in 13 games as a true freshman, playing 209 total snaps as the Tigers won the 2018 National Championship. In gridiron football, a guard (G), otherwise known as an offensive guard (OG), is a player who lines up between the center (American football), center and the offensive tackle, tackles on the offensive line of a football team on the line of scrimmage used primarily for Blocking (American football), blocking. Right guards (RG) is the term for the guards on the right of the offensive line, while left guards (LG) are on the left side. Guards are to the right or left of the center. The guard's job is to protect the quarterback from the incoming defensive line, linemen during pass plays, as well as creating openings (holes) for the running backs to head through. ''The Greenville News'' is a daily morning newspaper published in Greenville, South Carolina. After ''The State'' in Columbia and Charleston's ''The Post and Courier'', it is the third largest paper in South Carolina. History ''The Greenville News'' started off as a four-page publication in 1874 by A.M. Speights. For a one-year subscription, the cost was eight dollars. The Buffalo Bills are a professional American football team based in the Buffalo metropolitan area.
