Jackie Clark (philanthropist)
Jackie Clark (born 1964) is a New Zealand philanthropist and advocate for women. She established The Aunties, a charity helping vulnerable women and children who have experienced domestic violence. Biography Clark was born in Grey Lynn's Bethany Hospital, owned by her great-grandmother, and raised in Takapuna. She was one of ten children; her mother Patricia (née France) was her father Tom's third wife. When Clark was 12 years old she left home for boarding school at her own request; she attended Samuel Marsden Collegiate School in Wellington. She spent her last year of high school at Rangitoto College and then studied art and Southeast Asian history at University of Auckland. After graduating in 1986 she went overseas and lived in England, France and Switzerland before returning to New Zealand. Jackie Clark (cricketer)
Jacqueline Clark (born 14 March 1963) is a New Zealand former cricketer who played as a left-handed opening batter. She appeared in 11 Test matches and 31 One Day Internationals for New Zealand between 1984 and 1992, including playing for New Zealand at the 1988 Women's Cricket World Cup. She played domestic cricket for Central Districts and Wellington. On her Test debut, against England in 1984, Clark was New Zealand's top scorer, with 79 in the second innings. When Australia played a three-match series of one-day matches in New Zealand in January 1986, Clark top-scored for New Zealand in every match, with 81, 59 and 36 not out. Jacqueline Emma Clarke (born 1966) is a New Zealand entertainer, singer and comedian. She was a judge on ''New Zealand Idol'' in 2005. In 2016, she was named Top Female Artist by the Variety Artists Club of New Zealand. Jackie Clarke (footballer)
Jackie Clarke (born 1949) was an Irish soccer player during the 1960s and 1970s. An amateur and youth international, Jackie was a defender who played for Shamrock Rovers and Bohemian amongst others during his career in the League of Ireland. Clarke came from a proud sporting family; his father Mattie Clarke won the FAI Cup 4 times with Rovers. Jackie matched him in 1970 when he was part of Bohemians' FAI Cup winning team. Jacqueline Lenita Clark-Chisholm (née Cullum; December 29, 1948), known professionally as Jacky Clark-Chisholm, is an American Grammy Award-winning gospel singer, songwriter, and licensed practical nurse who is best known as the eldest member of the American gospel singing group The Clark Sisters. Biography Early life and career Chisholm was born December 29, 1948, in Detroit Michigan, the second child of legendary gospel music innovator Dr. Mattie Moss-Clark and her husband Leo Henry Cullum, Sr. When Chisholm was young, her parents divorced and her mother married Elbert Clark (d. 2001).
