John Thomas Wolfe
John (Jack) Thomas Wolfe (May 2, 1955 – February 2, 1995) was a community veterinarian before becoming a Canadian provincial politician. He was the Progressive Conservative member of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan for the constituency of Assiniboia-Gravelbourg, from 1988 until 1991. Early life Wolfe was born in Rockglen, Saskatchewan on May 2, 1955, and was raised on the Wolfe family ranch within the Killdeer, Saskatchewan district west of Rockglen. He attended school at Killdeer before completing high school in Rockglen. He studied biology at the University of Saskatchewan and in 1979 he graduated with distinction from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. Professional career Wolfe practiced as a veterinarian in Alberta for one year before returning to his home in Rockglen, Saskatchewan, where he ran the Borderland Veterinary Clinic with his wife, Dr. Gail Wolfe (maiden name: Snyder), whom he had married on January 26, 1980. Jack Wolfe (14 January 1924 – 18 November 2007) was a 20th-century United States, American painting, painter most known for his abstract artist, abstract art, portraiture, and political paintings. Biography Early life and education Jack Wolfe was born in Omaha, Nebraska on January 14, 1924, to Blanche and Everett L. Wolfe. Soon after his birth, his family moved to Brockton, Massachusetts, Brockton, MA. At 18, Wolfe had an interest in commercial illustration, which he pursued at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). However, upon matriculating at RISD in 1942, he developed an interest in fine art and painting inspired by an exhibition of modern French art. He described this change of direction, explaining that, "One day, for the first time, I saw an exhibition of modern French art. It was like being struck by lightning." Jack Thomas Davies (born 17 December 1995), known professionally as Jack Wolfe, is an English actor. He began his career in theatre. On screen, he is known for his roles in the film ''The Magic Flute'' (2022) and the second season of the Netflix series ''Shadow and Bone'' (2023).
