Jack Weil (American Football)
Jack Lee Weil (born March 16, 1962) is a former American college and professional football player who was a punter in the National Football League (NFL) for two seasons during the mid-1980s. Weil played college football for the University of Wyoming, and then played professionally for the Denver Broncos and the Washington Redskins of the NFL. Weil was born in Denver, Colorado. He attended Northglenn High School in Northglenn, Colorado. Northglenn High School is a public institution located in Northglenn, Colorado, United States. History Northglenn High School opened in 1965 as the first high school in the Adams 12 Five Star Schools. From 1965-2011 Northglenn High School was the only Adams 12 school to have a swimming pool. With the introduction of STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) into Northglenn, the pool was closed and replaced with science, computer and aerospace engineering labs. A punter (P) in gridiron football is a special teams player who receives the snap (gridiron football), snapped ball directly from the line of scrimmage and then Punt (gridiron football), punts (kicks) the football to the opposing team so as to limit any field position advantage.
