Jack Steele (footballer)
Jack Steele (born 13 December 1995) is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the St Kilda Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He previously played for the Greater Western Sydney Giants from 2015 to 2016. Steele has won two Trevor Barker Awards and is a dual All-Australian. He served as St Kilda co-captain in 2021, and has served as the sole captain since the 2022 season. Early life Steele is from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory (ACT). His father Stuart played Rugby League at club level in country New South Wales and several of Jack’s uncles also played Rugby League. NSW/ACT Rams
The NSW/ACT Rams is an under 18 Australian rules football representative club in the TAC Cup. The team, under the guidance of AFL NSW/ACT represented New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory and had the moniker of the Ram, partly derived as an acronym from Riverina, ACT, Murrumbidgee and Sydney, the four regions supplying the bulk of the team's squad. The Rams joined the Cup in 1996 with another non-Victorian club, the Tassie Mariners. Both left the competition in 2002 when the TAC Cup became a Victorian-focused competition. The Rams then played around three or four games a year, with players instead playing club football on the remaining weeks of the year. Prior to the 2014 season, the NSW/ACT Rams was reestablished as a TAC Cup team, with players from the Sydney Swans and Greater Western Sydney Giants young academy sides being picked for the NSW/ACT team. Belconnen Football Club
The Belconnen Magpies Football Club is an Australian rules football club which competes in the AFL Canberra. They previously played in the now defunct North East Australian Football League competition. History Originally known as the Turner Football Club, the club became known as Belconnen in 1970 and was admitted to the Canberra Australian National Football League in 1971. Wearing a navy blue guernsey with a white monogram, the club was known as the "Bees" from 1971 until 1979, then as the "Blues" following the ANU Blues' withdrawal from the league during 1979. Before the 1986 season, the Belconnen club merged with the West Canberra Football Club to become the "Belconnen Magpies". Josh Kelly (Australian Footballer)
Joshua Kelly (born 12 February 1995) is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Greater Western Sydney Giants in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was recruited by the Greater Western Sydney Giants with the second overall selection in the 2013 national draft. Kelly had a breakout year in 2017, winning inclusion in the All-Australian team and finishing fifth in the Brownlow Medal. Ryan Griffen
Ryan Leigh Griffen (born 27 July 1986) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Western Bulldogs and the Greater Western Sydney Giants in the Australian Football League (AFL). Griffen was born in Goolwa, a South Australian port town near the mouth of the Murray River and began his football career with South Adelaide. Adam Treloar (born 9 March 1993) is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Western Bulldogs in the Australian Football League (AFL). Dylan Anthony Shiel (born 9 March 1993) is a Australian rules footballer playing for the Essendon Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was one of 12 underage recruits that GWS had access to as part of their list concessions. Early life Shiel attended Caulfield Grammar School, graduating in 2010, prior he attended St Bede's College in Mentone, Victoria. He was originally a supporter. Stephen Coniglio ( ; born 15 December 1993) is a professional Australian rules footballer and the captain of the Greater Western Sydney Giants in the Australian Football League (AFL). Drafted with the second pick in the 2011 AFL national draft, Coniglio made his debut for Greater Western Sydney in the first round of the 2012 season and was later nominated for the 2012 AFL Rising Star award. Callan Ward
Callan Ward (born 10 April 1990) is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Greater Western Sydney Giants in the Australian Football League (AFL). He previously played for the Western Bulldogs from 2008 to 2011. Ward received a nomination for the 2009 AFL Rising Star award in round 18 of the 2009 season. The North Melbourne Football Club, nicknamed the Kangaroos, is a professional Australian rules football club. Jason Tutt (born 15 May 1991) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Western Bulldogs and Carlton Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Originally from Canberra he played his junior football for Ainslie, Tutt was recruited to the Australian Football League by the Western Bulldogs with the number 31 draft pick in the 2009 AFL Draft.
