John Quinn (advocate)
John Louie Marie Quinn QC (9 May 1954 – 2 January 2022) was the Attorney General of the Isle of Man. He was appointed to that office in 2017, having filled the role in an acting capacity since 2013. In 2013, he was also appointed (''ex officio'') as a member of the Legislative Council of the Isle of Man. Quinn was born on 9 May 1954. John Quinn (wrestler)
John Arthur Quinn (October 15, 1941 – April 22, 2019) was a Canadian professional wrestler. He was best known for his appearances in the World Wide Wrestling Federation (WWWF) under the ring name The Kentucky Butcher in the late-1960s, where he challenged then WWWF World Heavyweight Champion Bruno Sammartino on several occasions, including a 1968 main event at Madison Square Garden. In addition to his appearances in the WWWF, Quinn performed under his birth name for North American regional promotions including NWA All-Star Wrestling, Pacific Northwest Wrestling and Stampede Wrestling from the early 1960s to early 1970s. During his later career, he also appeared in European and Japanese organizations from the 1970s until the late 1980s. Jonathan Graham Quinn (born 26 February 1972) is a Northern Irish musician, best known as the drummer for alternative rock band Snow Patrol, and was previously a member of bands like The Mighty Fall, The New Brontes and Disraeli Gears. Sir John Alexander Macdonald (January 10 or 11, 1815 – June 6, 1891) was the first prime minister of Canada, serving from 1867 to 1873 and from 1878 to 1891. John Joseph Quin (2 July 1890 – 1953) was a Scottish footballer who played as a forward. He played in the Football League for Manchester United and Grimsby Town, and also spent a season with Manchester City without making an appearance. After the First World War, he played in Scotland for Clyde and Ayr United. Jack Quinn (born September 19, 2001) is a Canadian professional ice hockey right winger for the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted eighth overall by the Sabres in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career Quinn was selected in the second round, 39th overall, by the Ottawa 67's during the 2017 Ontario Hockey League (OHL) Priority Selection. He spent the majority of the subsequent season with the Kanata Lasers of the Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) while also appearing in eight games for the 67's. Quinn's rookie season in 2018–19 saw him score 12 goals and 20 assists in 61 games. He also went scoreless in two postseason games. Jack Quinn (Gaelic Footballer)
John A. "Jack" Quinn (born 1943) is an Irish former Gaelic footballer who played at club level with Kilbride and at inter-county level with the Meath senior football team. He usually lined out as a full-back. Career Quinn was a member of the Kilbride club team that earned promotion from junior to senior in the space of five seasons. After winning the respective Meath JFC and Meath IFC titles in 1960 and 1962, he won his first Meath SFC title in 1964. He won a second title in 1967 and then completed a three-in-a-row between 1969 and 1971. Having represented the Meath minor football team, Quinn won an All-Ireland Junior Championship title in 1962 before being picked for the senior team in 1963.
