Jack Miller (motorcycle Racer)
Jack Peter Miller (born 18 January 1995) is an Australian Grand Prix motorcycle racer who rides for the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing in MotoGP. He was the ''German 2011 IDM 125cc International Champion''. Miller has won four races in the premier class, his first at the 2016 Dutch TT on a Marc VDS Honda, his second and third in consecutive weekends of May 2021, at Jerez, Spain, and Le Mans, France on a Ducati, Motegi Japan in 2022 and has finished as the championship runner-up in the 2014 Moto3 World Championship. Miller now uses the nickname 'Thriller', whereas earlier in his career he was known as 'Jackass'. 2015 British Motorcycle Grand Prix
The 2015 British motorcycle Grand Prix was the twelfth round of the 2015 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It was held at the Silverstone Circuit in Silverstone on 30 August 2015. The MotoGP and Moto3 races were held in wet conditions, while the Moto2 race was in dry conditions with cloudy weather. In the premier class, Marc Márquez took his sixth pole position of the season and recorded the fastest lap by a motorcycle since Silverstone was renovated, with a 2:00.234 lap time. In the race, he battled with Valentino Rossi for first place, but he crashed out of the race with 8 laps remaining. The 2015 Catalan motorcycle Grand Prix was the seventh round of the 2015 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It was held at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Montmeló on 14 June 2015. In the MotoGP category, Suzuki's Aleix Espargaró took the manufacturer's first pole position since returning to MotoGP, but he crashed out of the race with 5 laps remaining. Cal Crutchlow (born 29 October 1985) is an English professional motorcycle racer who retired from regular competition after the 2020 season. He is contracted as a test rider for Yamaha Motor Racing, which he is expected to continue in 2022 and 2023. During 2021 he returned to race for two Yamaha teams as a replacement rider in four MotoGP events, and will replace Andrea Dovizioso for the last six events of 2022 after Dovizioso's retirement announced mid-season. The 2015 FIM MotoGP World Championship was the premier class of the 67th F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. The championship was won by Spanish rider Jorge Lorenzo, racing for Movistar Yamaha Factory. It was his third and final world title in the MotoGP category, his fifth overall in Grand Prix motorcycle racing. Álex Márquez Alentà (born 23 April 1996) is a Grand Prix motorcycle rider from Spain racing for Ducati satellite team Gresini Racing MotoGP. 2013 Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix
The 2013 Australian motorcycle Grand Prix was the sixteenth round of the 2013 MotoGP season. It was held at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit in Phillip Island on 20 October 2013. The MotoGP race was originally scheduled to run over 27 laps but was shortened to 19 laps after Bridgestone announced that the safety of its tyres on the newly resurfaced track could not be guaranteed after 10 laps. Riders were required to make a pitstop to swap bikes or change tyres at least once during the race, and no rider was permitted to use the same set of tyres for more than 10 laps. Marc Márquez and Bryan Staring were both disqualified for riding an 11-lap stint without pitting. Jorge Lorenzo won the race and closed up the gap to Márquez in the championship to 18 points.
