Jack Mellor
John Mellor (born July 1906, date of death unknown) was an English footballer who played as a full back in the Football League for Manchester United and Cardiff City. He was born in Oldham, Lancashire. In his early days, he played for Witton Albion. In June 1929, he was sold to Manchester United, where he made 122 appearances without scoring. Oldham
Oldham is a large town in Greater Manchester, England, amid the Pennines and between the rivers Irk and Medlock, southeast of Rochdale and northeast of Manchester. It is the administrative centre of the Metropolitan Borough of Oldham, which had a population of 237,110 in 2019.
