Jack Hunter (English Footballer)
John Hunter (September 1852 – 9 April 1903) was an English footballer who won the FA Cup with Blackburn Olympic in 1883 and made seven appearances for England between 1878 and 1882 playing at half back. Career Hunter was born in Sheffield in September 1852 and worked as a butcher and silver cutler in the city whilst playing for various clubs, including Heeley, Providence, Sheffield Albion and The Zulus. He won all his England caps whilst playing for Sheffield Heeley, a club he originally joined in 1870. His first international appearance was at Hampden Park, Glasgow against Scotland on 2 March 1878. Jackie Hunter, born John Hunter (29 September 1903 – 21 November 1951) was a Canadian actor, singer, musician and entertainer known for starring in the 1945 films ''Don Chicago'', as the eponymous hero, and '' Give Me the Stars'' as Lyle Mitchell. In 1943 Hunter appeared in the London West End Lyric Theatre production of the musical revue '' Flying Colours'', co-starring with Binnie Hale and Douglas Byng. Jack William Hunter Jr. (born June 1, 1974) is an American radio host, political commentator and Politics Editor for Rare (news website), Rare.us, a Washington, D.C.-based news website. He began his career in the late 1990s on alternative rock station WAVF 96.1 FM using the moniker "Southern Avenger", an anonymous pro wrestler/superhero-style character. In 2007, Hunter began appearing every Tuesday and Friday morning on WTMA News-Talk 1250 AM, and contributed to a weekly column to the ''Charleston City Paper''. Jack Hunter (born 28 April 1995) is a New Zealand Under-19s and first-class cricketer. He played Under-19 Cricket World Cup in 2014. He was born in Dunedin, Otago and made his senior cricket debut for Otago in 2015 having played age-group cricket for the team.
